These wonderful percussion instruments are not yet well known. Here I demostrate how a spring drum can sound - to give a glimpse for those interested.

The make in this case is Remo. According to some accounts they, along with percussionists, invented the instrument. Though I have also seen other accounts claiming that similar instruments existed already before in certain indigenous communities.
